Susan's story begins...

Susan’s story began with her role as a Plant Manager for a supplier component plant in the early 1990’s.  After multiple career moves in the automotive and energy space,  Susan was most recently a CEO of an emerging battery technology company that was acquired by a leader in commercial vehicle transportation.  From 25 Years in the automotive industry and 10 more in the clean energy space, Susan is uniquely qualified to help Founders, CEO’s ,COO’s, CTO’s, reshape their processes and technology reshaping it into new technology and success.

Global Manufacturing Experience

Susan’s unique experience includes spearheading several large-scale initiatives within complex, global organizations aimed at addressing financial challenges. Susan drove the companies’ transformations with systemic process and corporate culture change, including managing international teams through difficult business transitions that led to improved operational and labor efficiency. 

Susan is an experienced independent non-executive director to the board of Senior PLC, an international, market-leading, engineering solutions provider with 33 operations in 14 countries headquartered in the UK. As the former CEO of Romeo Power, Susan was responsible for scaling the commercial battery technology.  In her role as chief operations officer for Bloom Energy, Susan was responsible for all new product launch strategy and sales execution, operations, capacity management, global supply chain, purchasing, labor management, EHS strategy and compliance, and government a airs. Susan provided leadership in revenue, sales, and bid delivery and contract negotiations, with shared accountability with the chief technology officer.

As a beneficiary of a public school education, through my master’s degree, I can see that supplementing traditional education with role model and experiential learning is key to the success of women in STEM jobs and young girls considering STEM. I consider myself a role model for the possibilities that exist in the world.”
